Prospects for the NFT industry, regulation of virtual assets and the best strategies for making money on cryptocurrency: Results of the 7th Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kyiv
The seventh Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kyiv took place on May 25, which traditionally brought together leaders of the crypto community to discuss industry trends and prospects for launching the virtual assets market in Ukraine.
There were 21 speakers at the event. Experts analyzed the current state of the crypto industry, talked about effective trading strategies, mining threats, the possibilities of central bank digital currencies, analyzed the prospects of NFT and stablecoins, cybersecurity, as well as regulation of the blockchain and cryptocurrency sphere.
Demo zone of the conference allowed guests to discover the service for combatting crypto scams, products of companies that help to increase assets and obtain citizenship by investment.
Speed dating allowed guests to meet a large number of specialists, establish contacts with the right people and acquire useful connections.
The conference was moderated by an experienced interviewer and presenter of crypto events Eugene Romanenko.
Topics discussed at Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kyiv 2021
Ivan Paskar, Marketing Manager at Binance (Ukraine) spoke about the main crypto trends of 2021 and the prospects for the non-fungible token market. The expert shared how Binance Smart Chain makes cryptocurrency available to everyone and explained what their NFT marketplace will look like.
Serhiy Bondarenko, Head of Digital Solutions at DTEK talked about the key features of CBDC, explained how they can affect the economy and business. He compared bitcoin with CBDC, highlighted the existing projects in this area, considered the problems of scaling digital currencies and explained how things are going with their release on the Ukrainian market.
Alex Fisun, co-founder of Global Ledger raised the topic of legislative regulation of the virtual assets market. He discussed how you can benefit from this process.
Jan Keil, Head of Innovation at Infopulse spoke about human digital identity and its evolution. He explained what self-sovereign identity is, outlined its main principles and advantages. The speaker stressed that sovereign identity has great potential and allows to solve a whole list of important problems, including violation of the confidentiality of personal data and their transfer to third parties.
The topic of cryptocurrency trading was raised at the conference by the owner and founder of Porokh & Co Ihor Porokh. He spoke about the prospects of making money this way, named the main rules of crypto trading and listed the most effective strategies that allow to make high profits.
Panel discussions: what was discussed and who participated?
As part of Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kyiv 2021, two lively discussions took place, where representatives of government agencies, lawyers, heads of specialized companies, security experts, blockchain developers and other specialists discussed the most pressing market topics. The participants actively discussed and answered questions from the guests.
The first discussion raised the issue of launching a virtual assets market. During a heated talk, experts considered the role of the Expert Group at the Ministry of Digital Transformation in this process, named the contradictions that arise in the interests of the regulator and participants on the virtual asset market. They also discussed the opportunities that will open up for business and ordinary Ukrainians thanks to the launch of the local crypto market.
