BitcoinUkraine mining pool was launched
Ukrainian Bitcoin enthusiasts have launched BitcoinUkraine mining pool. One of the founders is Oles Slobodyanyuk, an entrepreneur well-known in the community.
The pool takes no fees. It’s based on the Pay-Per-Share model and will support Bitcoin Core only.
After achieving a 2000TH hashrate, every block found by the pool will be signed as “Ukraine”, as planned by project founders.
It is expected that users of the regional pool will be miners that shifted from Chinese pools. The accuracy of this hypothesis is confirmed by AK47, a Russian pool that is strengthening its positions in the market.
