Bitcoin price has reached a two-year-old maximum point

Bitcoin price has skyrocketed and reached the two-year-old maximum point. Having shown 15% growth, the price of 1 BTC equaled to $530, catching up with the numbers in August, 2014. Now the total market capitalization of Bitcoin can be estimated at $8 billion.

Specialists don’t mention specific reasons and traditionally allude to China. Investors from Celestial Empire were actively buying BTC, and thus increased its price to $573. According to Coindesk data, bitcoin/ yuan trading made up 95% of all cryptocurrency transactions, whereas last year it accounted for 80%.

Others see the reason of such growth in rapidly increasing popularity of Ethereum. Platform, which attracted attention of Microsoft and IBM, could also influence the situation. But it seems unlikely, as far as Ether price has gone down a little bit recently.
