Bitcoins instead of pokemons. Japan releases a BTC game

It’s so typical of Japanese. The local company Mandel Duck released a game based on Pokermon Go where users have to gather bitcoins.

The principle is the same. Smartphone app Takara shows bitcoins’ location on the map. A gamer finds them using GPS and then gathers one by one. In order to make sure that the gamer is in the right place, “dropper” asks a question which cannot be answered unless the gamer is physically near a bitcoin.

Only an authorized gamer can become a “dropper”, but anyone can gather bitcoins. App was installed by more than 20 000 users – mainly, Tokyo citizens.

Except for bitcoins, Takara gives various bonuses: tickets, discount coupons, special offers and loyalty rewards.
